Aloha Team Amemiya,
Thanks to all of you and your hard work over the last year, our campaign has prevailed and we are going to the General Election in November!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your support. I am so grateful to our community-powered campaign for your unwavering dedication and for running a positive campaign true to our values. We achieved everything we set out to do—from engaging younger voters and first-time volunteers to sharing our vision for a healthy Oʻahu and housing for all.
But we still have work to do. I am eager to hear and learn from all the voters who did not choose me this time around so I can earn their trust for the General Election. We will continue to work for our goal creating a better Oʻahu that prioritizes the health and wellbeing of our people and our place, building more affordable housing, and meaningfully addressing homelessness.
