Besides his intellect, accomplishments, and experience, we believe Keith has the character to serve as Mayor. The character of honesty, humility, and integrity. He is the most congenial and warmhearted of all the candidates and shows genuine aloha for the ʻāina and our people.
I first met Keith in 2012 when I was student body president at UH Mānoa and Keith served as the Executive Administrator and Secretary to the Board of Regents. Keith is down-to-earth, caring, friendly to all, and committed to hearing everyone out on the issues that they face every day.
As someone who wants to learn more about making change for the community, I did my research on each candidate. Keith was the person I chose for Mayor. At HHSAA, Keith was able to find solutions that weren’t there, which isn’t an easy thing to do. Once I did meet him, he proved to be a very down-to-earth person. He took a genuine interest in getting to know us and didn’t seem like your typical politician.
He’s not a traditional politician stuck in the old ways. As a former high school athlete, I’m grateful that Keith brought people together to save high school sports in our state. I’m confident he’ll bring more solutions as mayor.
Change in Hawai‘i needs to happen and Keith Amemiya is leading that change.
Keith is thoughtful and committed. Everywhere Keith has been, he’s always left that place better than when he arrived.
I was a 4-year Letterman at Leilehua from 1996-2000. Only heard great things about Keith and his ability to get people to work together rather than against each other is incredible. Many people relate in life through sports, and he has touched so many lives in Hawaii already and many people probably don’t even know it!
Keith is not a politician. He would be a servant leader. He is honest and understands business.
Keith is great at accomplishing things. He is a problem solver and very responsive.
Keith is visionary, and a strong candidate for mayor.
Keith is cut out for the job, and I don’t believe he is in it just to be a politician. He is my choice for mayor.
Keith was always very pleasant and enjoyable to talk to in college. He seems like a man that will bring about positive change to the City and County of Honolulu. He’s a good man.
It’s been decades since I’ve been so excited about a person running for office. Keith is the real deal! He’s honest and a man of great integrity. He does NOT have any hidden agenda nor does he have bad political backers.
Keith is a special guy who has endured many hardships while growing up and to his credit, he has grown to be the very caring, compassionate person that he is to want to make life better for all, especially for those less fortunate ones. He understands the struggles that people are living with and wants to help better their situation as was done for him as he lived through his struggles.
